After watching her first professional theatre show in 2004 Briana decided that theatre was her life. That same year she delved into community theatre as an ensemble in Limelight Theatre's production of Oklahoma. In 2006 her High School Drama teacher invited her to Stage Manage a youth theatre production of Noah the Musical at Stirling Theatre. Following her newfound love of management, she was accepted in 2009 to study Stage Management at WAAPA. After graduating in 2011 Briana moved to Sydney where she worked with Sydney Festival, the City of Sydney and Tin Shed Theatre Company over various productions. In 2012 her dreams came true when she was offered the assistant stage manager role on Gordon Frost Organisation’s production of ‘An Officer and a Gentlemen’ at Sydney Lyric Theatre.
After ‘An Officer and a Gentlemen’ closed she made the decision to return back to Perth where she worked with The Duck house at PICA, The Famous Sharron at Perth Fringe and toured with Black Swan State Theatre Company. In 2015 She got involved with Musae as Stage Manager on Oklahoma at the Regal Theatre and on Oliver at the Joy Shepherd’s Performing Arts Centre. At the end of 2016, Briana decided to hop back on to the stage with Murdoch Theatre Company as the little pigtail girl for ‘You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown’. In 2017 she graced the stage with an award-winning performance of Helen in ‘Fat Pig’ at Old Mill Theatre and finished the year as the Thane of Ross in Roleystone Theatre's production of Macbeth. Currently, she is stage managing Perth’s largest Pro-Am production – We Will Rock You, opening at His Majesty’s Theatre in March.
