Tanika Peverall

Singing Teacher

Tanika Peverall is a contemporary singer, songwriter and artist. She is currently studying contemporary performance at the West Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA), and is due to graduate with a Diploma of Music at the end of the year. Having started performing and making music at age 12 in 2015, Tanika has since played at venues around Perth, both in bands and as a solo artist. Tanika’s soulful and bluesy singing style is majorly influenced by musical artists such as Aretha Franklin and Etta James. To date, Tanika has released multiple tracks across various streaming platforms, including her original songs, 'Missing You' and 'Yellow'. Among Tanika’s most notable achievements, have been her performances for Channel 7 Telethon in 2015, 2017 and 2019, and singing for the Perth Wildcats in their 2020 end of season game. Over the years, Tanika has also gained international experience. In early 2019, Tanika toured America, performing at Disney World and Disney Springs in Orlando, Florida, also partaking in workshops with JW's Inspirational Singers in New York City. In 2020, she travelled to Singapore and performed at Universal Studios and the Singapore Zoo.
