Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions form part of all trading arrangements between the School and the Parent/Student for the Services of the School for the Student on the authorisation of the Parent/Student/Custodian.

 

  1. DEFINITIONS
    In the following Terms and Conditions “the School” relates to ourselves and any related body corporate of the Supplier within the meaning of Section 50 of the Corporations law; ‘the Parent’ or ‘Student’ means the applicant and/or Custodian of the Student to whom we are supplying tuition; and “the Services” means the tuition, training, instruction the School provides to the Student.
     

  2. PRICE
    Unless otherwise specifically stated, any prices quoted by the School at which the Parent/Student accept at the time are in Australian currency.
     

  3. LAW APPLICABLE TO WESTERN AUSTRALIA
    This deed is governed by the law applicable in Western Australia. The Supplier and the Customer irrevocably and unconditionally submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Western Australia.
     

  4. PAYMENT

    • a) An enrolment fee is payable for each new student. This fee is $40 if enrolling in Term 1, $30 if enrolling in Term 2, $20 if enrolling in Term 3 and $10 if enrolling in Term 4. This enrolment fee will be added to the first invoice. 

    • b) The Terms of trade is that an Invoice will be issued at the start of week 1 of the term and will be due and payable within 7 days.

    • c) Payment if not received at the start of week 3 will accrue a 10% levy. If still unpaid at the start of week 4, an additional fee shall accrue on the balance at 5% of the total per week until paid.

    • d) Debt recovery will be subject to all charges Ipso Facto and are to be added to the account. This may include solicitor’s fees and debt collection fees (collectively up to but not exceeding 25% of the debt), plus disbursement costs, charges relating to security documents and cheque dishonour fees.
       

  5. WITHDRAWAL
    Upon submission of this enrolment form, a student is enroled for the remainder of the year. Any withdrawals from classes need to be made in writing prior to the commencement of a new term. If withdrawals are not made in accordance with these terms and conditions, term fees will be applied as outlined in section 3. Payment.

  6. ​CONSENT IN RELATION TO THE PRIVACY ACT
    The Parent hereby authorises and unconditionally grants its consent to the School in obtaining from a credit reporting agency or other person or company, information and/or reports concerning it from time to time during the continuance of its credit account so as to assist the School in deciding whether to grant credit or to continue to grant credit to it or for collecting overdue payments in respect of commercial credit for or provided to it. The Parent further authorises and consents to the School in obtaining and disclosing information about its credit worthiness to and from credit reporting agencies and credit providers (including identity particulars and details of overdue payments), who have or are or intend to enter into some commercial or business dealings with it and/or credit to it. For the purposes of this paragraph ‘report’ and ‘information’ include any credit report originating from a credit agency or any other or information that has any bearing on the Parent’s credit worthiness, credit standing, credit history, credit capacity and personal information.
     

  7. CONSENT FOR PHOTOGRAPHS AND VIDEOS TO BE TAKEN
    I give permission for images in which I, and/or my child/ward, appear to be used by JETS for publications and public relations activities. In particular, I note that this may include use in print and electronic media, including the Internet and official social media platforms. I understand that JETS will not be accountable should overseas recipients of the images breach Australian privacy laws and that I will not be able to seek redress under the Privacy Act. If you do not agree to this, please notify JETS at info@jetsweb.com.au to ensure we are made aware of your requirements.
